Mae Democratiaid Rhyddfrydol Cymru wedi bod yn galw ar y Llywodraeth i ychwanegu Cymru wledig at ei Chynllun Rhyddhad Ardrethi Tanwydd Gwledig ers dros ddegawd, ond mae'r Ceidwadwyr wedi ein rhwystro bob tro. Mae hyn er gwaethaf y gwahaniaethau enfawr mewn prisiau mewn ardaloedd gwledig yng Nghymru o'u cymharu ag ardaloedd trefol ac mae'r cynllun eisoes ar waith mewn ardaloedd fel yr Alban, Dyfnaint a Swydd Efrog.
